Dr. Ked Cottrell
Dr. Cottrell graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in rural Indiana. Dr. Ked moved to Carolina Beach in 2002. In 2011, he opened Pleasure Island Animal Hospital with his late wife, Julie. Dr. Ked's son Travis grew up in Carolina Beach and now resides in Brunswick County with his family. Dr. Ked has two dogs, a Shih Tzu - Jack, and a mixed breed - Brawley. Dr. Melissa Todd
Dr. Todd is originally from a small community in Northwest Ohio but moved to Tennessee in 2004. She earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. GO VOLS!! In 2016, she joined our Pleasure Island Animal Hospital family. Dr. Todd has two dogs, Phoebe (Jack Russell) and Frankie (Golden Retriever), and a calico cat, Mona. Dr. Heather Morden
Dr. Morden grew up on a dairy farm in northeastern Iowa which is where her love for working with animals started. Dr. Morden graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 and moved to Northern Illinois right after graduating where she practiced until moving to Wilmington in August 2019. Dr. Morden is Fear Free Certified and is excited to use these methods to help your pet be more at ease during their appointments. She also enjoys soft tissue surgery. Dr. Morden and her husband have 3 dogs (two Great Danes and a Jack Russell), one cat, two horses, and a pig. |
